Welcome to Mary's Knittin'!!

I'm Mary Gonzales, the girl behind the knitting needles. I'm a WMU college student and I'm happily knitting my way through school!

After learning how to knit in the summer of 2008 from my wonderful Grandma, it instantly became my favorite activity. The following fall, I had to come up with a business plan for my 'General Business' class, so I turned to my knitting hobby. I came up with the name Mary's Knittin' and moved on to the next class. By 2011, I realized that the mock business plan could be a reality. I started knitting like crazy and took my items to lots of local craft show. In July 2012, I launched my Facebook Page and that's when my business really took off after discovering the photography prop industry. I instantly feel in love with these styled session and knew that I wanted to focus on making props for infants.

Fast forward to 2015, my items can be found throughout the United States and in over 8 countries around the world. I have a huge collection of in-use product photos that I enjoy browsing thorough. It is such an amazing job and I have 'met' so many fabulous photographers along the way. 

In May 2015, I had an official Grand-Reopening Celebration. The celebration included the debut of my logo, launch of my new website, official business cards, and tags sewn in all items. 

I can't wait to see what new adventures lay ahead in this journey. Until then, I will be sitting with my knitting needles and natural yarn designing props for you!

My shop is filled with Hand-Knit Goodness for Infants. All items are made from high-quality fibers. They are designed as photography props with the needs of professional newborn/infant photographers in mind.
